06.01.02 - 4:00 a.m. Alex decides to let Mom know he is ready to come out. |

06.02.02 - 12:00 a.m. We are off to Good Samaritan to get the baby out! |

06.02.02 - 2:34 p.m. Alex is born. A whopping 8 pounds 2 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Not to mention pretty cute. |

06.04.02 Alex is able to hold his own pacifier--our son is a genius! The family unit is ready to go out into the cruel world. Alex has first sponge bath--he is less than thrilled. |

06.07.02 Alex has his first outting to Max's restaurant. He slept through dinner--what a trooper! |

|
06.08.02 Alex breaks in his new stroller while shopping at ValleyFair. He also joins us for lunch at Cafe Bistro. |

06.17.02 Alex has two-week visit with Dr. Trager, the pediatrician. Of course, he is above average...in the 90% percentile in height and weight (sorry his head is average). He's now 8 pounds 13 ounces and 21.375 inches long. |

06.19.02 Alex sleeps for 5 hours. He continues to wake up only once in the middle of the night and once for a 6 a.m. feeding. |

06.25.02 Alex tries the bottle for the first time and is okay with it (knock on wood). |
